This is a very versatile motorhome that can accommodate a family of four. It is well equipped with all the facilities you will need on a drive around Iceland. A holiday in Iceland with a motorhome like this one you will remember. The motorhome has four-wheel drive and is therefore a very good vehicle to use in the shifting weather in Iceland.
The motorhome is a dynamic and flexible vehicle that is comfortable to drive for long stretches and when it is time for bed it transforms into a spacious and clever accommodation. This model has an easy-to-work roof that will expand the inside space during the night while also keeping the car sporty looks and drivability during drives.
The easy-up electric pop-up roof couldn’t be simpler to operate and packs down discreetly without impairing the camper’s sporty looks. In fact, you’d hardly know it was there. For convenient loading and unloading, the V-Class Marco Polo also features EASY-PACK automatic powered tailgate with a separately opening rear window, and electric sliding doors on the right. External connections for power and water are another practical feature.
The camper has four-wheel drive, but driving on highland routes is only permitted to a limited extent. It is permitted to drive on Kjölur (No. 35), Kaldidalur (No. 550) and the Landmannalaugar highland route (No. 208) up to the campsite, without fords. For all other highland routes, such as Sprengisandur (No. F26), a four-wheel drive camper such as the X-Pickup Camper is required.
The minimum rental age is 23 years. A drivier's license is requierred and should have been in the driver's possession for at least 1 year. The motorhome can only be left at the Ásbrú station near Keflavik Airport during opening hours from 08:00 to 18:30. When the motorhome is returned, a mandatory acceptance fee will apply.
The motorhome can be rented flexibly according to the desired travel duration (minimum rental period 7 days).
